The Wife of Them All (2022) follows a queer family as they traverse and move beyond borders, mad bureacracy
and precarious work. Anarchic linking between clay animation,
timelapse microscopy and feminist video art in a sci-fi heist plot that
contextualises the booming fertility market in relation to the
migratory control system. How to visualize technologies of assisted reproduction in relation to all the technologies of non-reproduction that constitute the landscape of reproductive politics in Europe and globally?
The film premiered at the 27th LesGaiCineMad Festival; the
69th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, with the support of HAMACA Moving Image Platform, and VAFT Festival in Turku, Finland.
